Description: The duplicit meaning of Life-line is part of the deceit of this reflection. It can be both a lifesaver, as well as the end of your life, where you transition from this life to the next (Atropos cutting the thread of human life with a pair of scissors). Water represents the unconscious and the reflection symbolize the threshold between the conscious mind and the unconscious mind. The image the reflection produces can be made sense of in both conscious and subconscious thought processes toward self-examination and individuation.
