“This is not the Truth” (a title made up out of an amount of random letters given to me), explores how we see ourselves, how others see us, and what the true version of our self is, as neither us, nor others truly see it. Like shattered pieces of a mirror, with an ever changing reflection, depending on the angle.
If you dare to dig deep enough, you will become more self aware, and will be able to set change in motion. For some people it is just too painful to survive.
“It is good to see ourselves as others see us. Try as we may, we are never able to know ourselves fully as we are”
― Mahatma Gandhi
I have also included some mini scratchboard artworks done as exercises for future etches.
